Twitter 101: Intro to Twitter

I’ve written previously about some possible practical uses for Twitter (here and here), but if you you need some basics on the idea behind Twitter, there’s no one better than Lee LeFever to put it in plain English:

Update: Check out Twitter 140 for a helpful further explanation.

Homework Assignments:

This is just the 101 class, so the homework is limited:

  1. Sign up for Twitter.
  2. Follow me (I’ll follow you back).

  1. This is an excellent video! It could not have been made any more clear than it is. I use this to explain Twitter to friends and associates that don’t know what the heck it is, and they instantly “get it” after watching this clip. In fact, ALL of the Lee LeFever videos are equally as effective. Great job Lee, and thanks so much!

  2. Very nice job, just a small suggestion, why don’t you translate or just subtitle the videos to another languages? I’m from Brazil and a lot of people don’t even know what is twitter and their english isn’t very good.

  3. Love the “in plain English” videos. They make things so easy to understand. Also, homework completed!

  4. This is a non-profit for Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN), the Whipple Procedure and Pancreatogenic Diabetes. Find useful info and a forum where you can get your questions about these conditions in a safe, private, environment.

  5. At this time we have representation at an International Conference for Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia ( MEN ) and are trying to form an International Association for MEN, this will enable research studies and medical information about this rare condition to be shared around the World.
